Cruise on the Danube to Abbey Melk
If you are staying extra nights into your European tour itinerary you could take a trip on the Danube river through the world heritage listed site of the Wachau to the abbey-fortress of Melk and return by train to Vienna. Tickets can not be pre-purchased. Appr. Costs: € 50 including admission to Abbey Melk. Purchase ticket on the day at the train station close to your hotel.
